History behind the shop?

We are hoping in weeks to come, to look into the history of the cottages that hold the shop.  I have been told that "Country Foods" use to be there in the early 80's, but so far my research hasn't proved fruitful!  If anyone you know has any old pictures or stories to share, please feel free, we would love to hear from you.

If you dont know where we are situated then its opposite the Barbers shop between the White Hart and White Swan pubs on Greenhill Main Road, Sheffield, S8 7RD

First week of School Holidays over already?

Wow that went quick...what have you been upto?...Monday was a very quiet day for the shop, think everyone was just chillin at home, but then it soon picked up and today was busy busy busy!...

Dont forget we open tomorrow (Saturday 10am - 2pm) so why not stock up on the sweets for the weekend, as we will be closed on Mondays during the hols.  Will keep you updated with opening times / days.  Have a good weekend, and hope to see you soon.

Here goes....

Well it was about time we got this blog up and running, so here goes.....

When we are not filling jars and weighing quarters of aniseed balls and jelly beans out, we will tell you a bit of how we got here...but for now,..

WELCOME TO HUMBUGS OF GREENHILL

...and if you havent gathered by now, we are a traditional sweet shop, in Greenhill, Sheffield.

After weeks of preparation, we finally opened our doors on the 14th May 2011, and are over the moon to say how well its doing.
