Busy - Bad Blogger
Sorry folks for a month without blogging. Lots going off in the shop - Halloween window display is all done, and spooky treats in store. We have had a few orders for Halloween Goodie Bags, and have various sized buckets with goodies for sale - made to order. Also been making Personalised Gifts - had an order for "something different!", and didnt know how much they wanted to spend - wasnt helpful, but after 3 of us on the case we came up with a caterpiller made from sweeties and personalised with sweetie letters!...They look fab, if I do say so myself, and today been making Personalised jars - photos to follow! Lots of new goodies in store...American Cream Soda, Cinder Toffee, Big Fishes, new Lollies and lots of different penny sweets. Last week we hit our target of 100th person to "like" us on Facebook...and already we at 108! - countdown to 200 now. Our lucky 100th person won themselves a jar full of sweets just for "liking" us - have you done so?...Right best be off.... History behind the shop?
We are hoping in weeks to come, to look into the history of the cottages that hold the shop. I have been told that "Country Foods" use to be there in the early 80's, but so far my research hasn't proved fruitful! If anyone you know has any old pictures or stories to share, please feel free, we would love to hear from you.

First week of School Holidays over already?
Wow that went quick...what have you been upto?...Monday was a very quiet day for the shop, think everyone was just chillin at home, but then it soon picked up and today was busy busy busy!...
Dont forget we open tomorrow (Saturday 10am - 2pm) so why not stock up on the sweets for the weekend, as we will be closed on Mondays during the hols. Will keep you updated with opening times / days. Have a good weekend, and hope to see you soon.
